Vivo Y33s Price in India Hiked by Rs 1,000: Here’s What it Costs Now

The Vivo Y33s, a mid-range smartphone from the BBK Electronics backed OEM, has seen a price hike according to reports. The new price already reflects on the Vivo India website as well as on e-commerce site Flipkart, but Amazon India is yet to update its pricing. This is the first price hike for the smartphone, which was recently also included in the list of deals and offers that Vivo India extended on its products, as part of its festive season discounts.

Vivo Y33s: update price in India

With 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, the Vivo Y33s was previously priced at Rs 17,990 across Vivo’s own store as well as third party e-commerce outlets. With a hike of Rs 1,000, the new price for the smartphone, which retails in only one RAM and storage variant, is now Rs 18,990. During the ongoing festive sales, the Y33s was eligible for up to Rs 2,500 cashback via HDB Finance and up to Rs 1,500 cashback via IDFC First Bank.

Key specifications

The Vivo Y33s is powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC, along with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It features a 6.58-inch full HD+ display that does not offer a fast refresh rate, and comes with a waterdrop notch to house the front camera. In terms of the cameras, the smartphone features a 50MP triple rear camera with two 2MP units supporting the main camera, and the front camera uses a 16MP sensor. Both the cameras are capable of 1080p video recording, among other features.


The smartphone does not offer 5G connectivity, but features dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 support with A2DP and Bluetooth LE. It features a USB-C port for wired connectivity and charging, and also houses a 3.5mm audio port for wired IEMs. The smartphone also features a side mounted physical fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button. The entire setup is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging and reverse charging, and runs on FunTouch OS with Android 11.
