Vivo is gearing up for the launch of a new budget Y-series smartphone. The company might soon launch the Vivo Y36 4G as its new budget smartphone in the Y-series in various markets. The smartphone is tipped to launch in India as well. At the moment, Vivo has not confirmed any details about the launch of the Y36. Meanwhile, the smartphone has been spotted on the Geekbench website ahead of its launch.

The listing confirms some key details about the upcoming Vivo smartphone. It reveals that the Y36 4G will feature up to 8GB of RAM. Vivo Y36 4G Geekbench Listing Confirms Key Specs

The Vivo Y36 4G will be a new budget smartphone offering from the brand. The device is expected to launch soon in India. Ahead of its debut, the Y36 4G has been spotted on the Geekbench website with the model number V2247. The phone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC. The 4G SoC has four cores clocked at 2.4GHz and four cores clocked at 1.9GHz. it is paired with an Adreno 610 GPU.

The variant of the Y36 4G listed on Geekbench has 8GB of RAM. We can expect the phone to feature 128GB of storage at least. The Y36 4G has scored 410 and 1343 in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests.

The phone was spotted running Android 13 out of the box, which is expected from any phone launching in 2023. It will have a layer of Origin OS 3 or Funtouch OS 13 depending on the market it launches.

Other details about the phone have leaked as well. It is said to feature a tall 6.8-inch IPS LCD panel. There will be a 50MP primary camera sensor.
