Vivo has officially debuted its newest Y-series smartphone Vivo Y36 4G in India. It was making rounds of the rumour mill for the past few weeks. This is a phone that targets the mid-range segment but does not have 5G connectivity. However, it does have features like a Full HD display, a Snapdragon processor, virtual RAM, a big battery, and super-fast charging. Let’s have a deeper look at this new offering.

Vivo Y36 4G Pricing, Availability, and Offers
The Vivo Y36 4G is already available for purchase via the Vivo E-store. It is priced at Rs 16,999 for the only configuration of 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The phone can be purchased in Meteor Black and Vibrant Gold colours.
Buyers can get a Rs 500 instant discount on ICICI and HDFC credit and debit cards until June 30. The good thing is this offer is valid for both full-swipe and EMI transactions. Vivo is further offering No Cost EMI to Know Your Bajaj EMI card users. The smartphone comes with a 15-day replacement policy.
Vivo Y36 4G Specifications and Features
The Vivo Y36 4G has minimal bezels on the sides and a teardrop notch at the top. The phone sports a 6.64-inch Full HD+ (2388 x 1080 pixels) display with 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor coupled with 8GB RAM.
The phone supports Extended RAM 3.0 features that utilize up to 8GB of unused storage space as virtual RAM. This essentially means you get a cumulative 16GB RAM with the smartphone. Vivo claims it can keep 25+ apps active in the background. You will get 128GB storage space with the phone.
In the camera department, the back panel has a dual camera setup featuring a 50MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP bokeh camera with f/2.4 aperture. The front camera on the phone is a 16MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture.
