Vivo has added yet another smartphone to its Y-series – the Vivo Y52 (2022). As the name suggests, it is a refresh of last year’s Vivo Y52, and similar to last year’s model it is also powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. The smartphone offers a large display, a 48MP camera setup, and a 5000mAh battery. The all-new Vivo Y52 (2022) features an IPS LCD display panel that measures 6.58-inch diagonally and has Full HD+ resolution. The display panel makes room for the selfie shooter inside a waterdrop notch.
Powering the latest Y-series smartphone is a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. To those unaware, the Dimensity 700 is an octa-core processor and comes coupled with an integrated Mali G52 GPU. It boots FunTouch OS 12, which is based on Android 12.
The all-new Vivo Y52 (2022) features a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48MP primary shooter, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. The handset relies on an 8MP camera for video calls and selfies.
The latest Y-series smartphone comes equipped with a 5000mAh battery. It supports 18W fast charging over a Type-C port. On the security front, the smartphone offers a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It also features a hybrid micro-SD card slot.
