Vivo has now launched a new Y-series smartphone in China. The latest Vivo Y53s is a 5G-enabled device. The handset packs in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor, and a 5,000mAh battery. Other highlights of the device include a 90Hz FHD+ display,  and a 64MP dual-rear camera setup. The Vivo Y53s packs 8GB RAM, and also has 3GB extended RAM. The Vivo Y53 comes in two configurations, 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB. The handset is available in Starry Night, Sea Salt, and Iridescent color variants. Following are the prices,

  • RMB 1999 (approx 22,790) for 8GB RAM + 256GB storage

Vivo Y53s 5G: Specifications, and Features

The Vivo Y53s features a 6.58-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, and a water drop notch. The handset is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor, built on an 8nm fabrication process. The graphics duties are taken care of by an integrated Adreno 619 GPU. It comes in 8GB RAM, and up to 256GB storage. The handset boots Android 11 based OriginOS 1.0

The Vivo Y53s packs a 64MP dual-rear camera setup with an LED flash. The primary 64MP sensor on the device gets accompanied by a 2MP macro lens that can go as close as 4cm to the subject. Moving to the front, there is an 8MP shooter for selfies and video calls.

The smartphone is equipped with a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. It has a Type-C charging port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
