Vivo has launched yet another Y-series smartphone – the Vivo Y56 5G in the Indian market. The all-new Vivo Y56 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor and 8GB of RAM. The smartphone is equipped with a 5000mAh battery and a Full HD+ resolution.

The Vivo Y56 offers a 50MP primary rear camera and a 16MP selfie camera. Other highlights of the device include 18W fast charging, a micro-SD card slot, a side mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Vivo Y56 5G: Specifications and Features

The latest Y-series smartphone from Vivo flaunts a 6.58-inch LCD display with a Full HD+ (2408 × 1080 pixel) resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and a waterdrop notch.

Under the hood, the all-new Vivo Y56 sports an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor and a Mali G52 GPU. It comes paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. Users also have the option to convert 8GB of internal storage as memory with the extended RAM feature. The latest Vivo handset comes pre-loaded with the company’s proprietary FunTouchOS 13, which is based on Android 13.

The latest Y-series smartphone comes equipped with a dual-rear camera setup that includes a 50MP primary shooter with a Samsung JN1 sensor, a 1/2.76-inch sensor size, and an f/1.8 aperture. It gets accompanied by a 2MP bokeh sensor that has an f/2.0 aperture. The handset relies on a 16MP front shooter for video calls and selfies.

The all-new Vivo Y56 is backed by a 5000mAh battery unit. It supports 18W fast charging and relies on a Type-C port for charging and data transfers. The smartphone is also equipped with a fingerprint scanner and a microSD card slot. It also has a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Vivo Y56 5G is available in two colour options – Orange Shimmer and Black Engine. It measures 184 grams and measures 164.05 × 75.60 × 8.15 mm. The handset features a plastic back panel. Connectivity options of the device include Dual-SIM, 4G, WiFi (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, Glonass, BeiDou, and Galileo.
