Vivo Y56 5G is reportedly available for purchase in India. The smartphone is a new mid-range offering in the Indian market, and could mostly be available in the offline segment. The Y56 5G has the same design language as many other Y-series phones from Vivo. The phone has huge circular coots on the back and comes with a flat frame design. The Y56 5G price in India is set at under Rs 20,000.

It comes with a single storage option. The company was previously rumoured to launch the phone in two colour options. Let’s take a look at the Vivo Y56 5G price in India, specifications and other details.

Vivo Y56 5G Price in India and Specifications 

The Vivo Y56 5G has been launched in India in a single storage configuration. The phone has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It is priced at Rs 19,999. The price of the Y56 5G was revealed by popular offline retailer Mahesh Telecom. The image below shows the phone in its Orange Shimmer colour option. The device is available in a Black Engine colour option as well.

The official listing revealed the specifications and features of the new Vivo smartphone.

In terms of hardware, the Y56 5G has a plastic frame and body. The flat rear panel houses two circular cutouts for the dual-camera setup. There is also an LED flash module next to the camera sensors.

On the front, the Y56 5G has a water-drop notch. The chin bezel is fairly thick compared to the rest of the bezels. The device supports Extended RAM 3.0 and offers 8GB of virtual RAM on top of the 8GB of physical RAM.

The Y56 5G has a 6.58-inch IPS LCD. The screen has a Full HD+ resolution of 2408 × 1080 pixels. It also has support for a standard 60Hz refresh rate. It boots Android 13 out of the box. The Y56 5G, like all Vivo phones in India, has a layer of Funtouch OS on top of Android. 

For biometrics, the Y56 5G has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Alternatively, there is support for AI face unlock as well. The device has an entry-level 5G processor under the hood. It features a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. The device supports seven 5G bands in India. There is a beefy 5000mAh battery as well. The Y56 5G supports only 18W fast charging out of the box via the USB Type-C port.

There is a 50MP main camera and a 2MP secondary sensor. The camera comes with support for Night mode, among other features. There is a 16MP front camera sensor. The camera setup comes with features, such as Photo, Night, Portrait, Video, 50MP, Panorama, Live Photo, Slo-mo, Time-Lapse, Pro, etc. The Y56 5G weighs about 184 grams and measures 164.05 × 75.60 × 8.15mm. It supports Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5.0GHz) and Bluetooth 5.1.
