Ahead of the launch, tipster Paras Guglani has revealed the key specifications of the phone. The Y56 5G will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. The fairly old SoC is an entry-level 5G processor in MediaTek’s lineup and has been used in several budget 5G smartphones in India over the past two years.

Guglani further revealed that the Y56 5G will come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone will pack a beefy 5000mAh battery under the hood. There will be a standard 18W fast charging support as well.

The Y56 5G will feature a 13MP primary camera sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. The device will feature a 5MP front camera.

It will feature a flat frame design. We can see the volume rocker on the right edge of the phone, below which should be the power button. The phone will also launch in a gold colour option. Vivo is expected to launch the device in more colour options.
