The Vivo Y72 5G flaunts a 6.58-inch IPS LCD panel with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels with an aspect ratio of 20:9, a 90.6 percent screen-to-body ratio along with a waterdrop notch design for accommodating the front camera sensor. Under the hood, the handset is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, clubbed with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage.

On the optical front, the Vivo Y72 5G sports a rectangular-shaped triple-rear camera setup vertically placed at the top left corner of the back panel.
