Vivo has added a new smartphone to its Y-series – the Vivo Y72t 5G. The Vivo Y72t makes its global debut in the Chinese market and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity processor. The all-new Y-series device offers a large display with a Full HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch. The handset comes equipped with a 50MP rear shooter.

Vivo Y72t 5G: Price and Availability
The Vivo Y72t comes in two configurations – 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. The base variant of the Vivo handset is priced at RMB 1,399 (approx Rs 16,260). Whereas, the 256GB storage variant costs RMB 1,599 (approx Rs 18,580).
The Vivo Y72t is available in China as of now. Vivo is yet to reveal the global availability detail for the handset.

The Vivo Y72t flaunts a 6.58-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution, 401ppi pixel density, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It is a standard 60Hz refresh rate panel that makes room for the selfie shooter inside a waterdrop notch.
Under the hood, the Vivo Y-series handset sports an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor and an integrated Mali G57 GPU. It comes paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS storage. The device boots OriginOS 1.0, based on Android 11.
The Vivo Y72t is equipped with a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50MP primary shooter and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies and video calls, the Y72t relies on an 8MP front shooter. The Vivo Y72t is backed by a 6000mAh battery unit and 18W fast charging support.
The Vivo Y72t comes in three colour options – Interstellar Powder, Deep Sea Black, and Blue Sea. It offers a Type-C charging port and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The handset weighs 200grams and measures 163.87 x 75.33 x 9.17mm.
