
The Chinese smartphone maker Vivo recently introduced the Vivo V27 series smartphones. Now, apart from the V27 series, it looks like the brand plans to launch a new Y-series smartphone, dubbed as the Vivo Y78+ soon in China. The upcoming Vivo Y78+ has visited the TENAA certification ahead of the launch. The TENAA certification listing was spotted by the folks at Pricebaba. The preliminary listing shows that the device will have a triple-camera setup and a 4,900mAh battery. The handset is expected to mark its debut as a successor to the Vivo Y77 which was introduced last year.
Vivo Y78+ To Feature Triple-Camera Setup
As per the rumours, the upcoming Vivo Y78+ (V2271A) is likely to debut in China. The company is also expected to introduce the vanilla Vivo Y78, which is expected to launch in the Indian market. Apart from the camera information and battery capacity details, the TENAA certification doesn’t disclose any other details of the device. We expect to learn more information about the device in the coming few days.
In a piece of related news, we are aware that Vivo is also prepping to introduce yet another Y-series device namely the Vivo Y11 (2023). The specifications of this upcoming device were leaked recently. As per the known details, the Vivo Y11 (2023) will boast a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display, which will offer Full HD+ resolution. Under the hood, the device will be powered by a MediaTek processor.

The device will have 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the smartphone will have 4GB Virtual RAM support. On the software side of things, the Vivo Y11 (2023) will run Android 13 OS out of the box with Funtouch OS 13 on top. The whole package will draw power from a 5,000mAh battery which will offer 18W fast charging support. The handset will be introduced in two or three colour options.
As for the launch, the company plans to debut this device by March end. The phone will be only available in a single 4GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration. The device could be priced for RMB 100 (roughly Rs 11,800) in China. We shall get to learn the official specifications, and pricing of the Vivo Y11 (2023) when it officially debuts by March end.
