Here are the top five smartphones we have compiled for you that are expected to launch this month. From the likes of Redmi Note 6 Pro to the Huawei’s flagship Mate 20 Pro, here is all you need to know.

Redmi Note 6 Pro

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro made its debut in Thailand in September. It was launched in Indonesia recently and is expected to arrive in India later this month. As the name clearly suggests, Redmi Note 6 Pro will succeed the Redmi Note 5 Pro (review), which is among the most popular Xiaomi smartphones on sale in India currently. While it is not a major upgrade over its predecessor, it does feature a slightly more impressive 20MP + 2MP dual-camera setup on the front and a larger 6.26-inch notched display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. As for pricing, the Redmi Note 6 Pro is expected to be priced around INR 15,000 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant.

Vivo Y95

Vivo Y95 is expected to be the manufacturer’s first Y-series offering with a Halo FullView display. As we reported recently, the smartphone is likely to run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset under the hood, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone will also feature a 20MP AI selfie camera and a large 4030mAh capacity battery. While Vivo has not confirmed a specific launch date, the Y95 is likely to launch in the country before the end of this month. The Y95 is rumored to be priced under INR 15,000 at launch.

Nokia 7.1

HMD Global announced the Nokia 7.1 at an event held in London last month. The smartphone is already on sale in Europe and is expected to be launched in India this month. Nokia 7.1 sports an impressive 5.84-inch Full HD+ resolution display with HDR10 support and runs on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset. Apart from an impressive display, the Nokia 7.1 also boasts a 12MP + 5MP dual-camera setup at the rear with Zeiss optics and 4K Ultra HD video recording. We expect the Nokia 7.1 to be priced somewhere under INR 20,000.

Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018)

Samsung introduced the world’s first smartphone with four rear cameras at an event in Malaysia last month, the Galaxy A9 (2018). The smartphone is expected to be formally launched in India this month, although Samsung has not confirmed a launch date yet. In Europe, the smartphone is priced at 599 EUR (INR 49,200 approx.). While we don’t expect it to be that expensive in India, rumors suggest that it could be priced above INR 35,000. The smartphone comes with a 24MP + 8MP + 10MP + 5MP setup at the rear and a single 24MP selfie camera on the front.
