The much-awaited OnePlus 6T was finally made official in October. Just a day after its global unveiling, OnePlus launched its latest flagship smartphone in India. However, the OnePlus 6T was not the only important new device launched in the country last month. HMD Global launched the Nokia 3.1 Plus Android One smartphone, while Honor launched its Kirin 710-powered Honor 8X phablet. Lenovo launched the K9 and A5 in India after a year of hiatus. Google’s latest Pixel smartphones and the iPhone XR also went on sale in the country last month. November is expected to be almost as exciting as October, with several big launches lined up. Here are the top five smartphones we have compiled for you that are expected to launch this month. From the likes of Redmi Note 6 Pro to the Huawei’s flagship Mate 20 Pro, here is all you need to know.
Redmi Note 6 Pro
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro made its debut in Thailand in September. It was launched in Indonesia recently and is expected to arrive in India later this month. As the name clearly suggests, Redmi Note 6 Pro will succeed the Redmi Note 5 Pro (review), which is among the most popular Xiaomi smartphones on sale in India currently. While it is not a major upgrade over its predecessor, it does feature a slightly more impressive 20MP + 2MP dual-camera setup on the front and a larger 6.26-inch notched display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. As for pricing, the Redmi Note 6 Pro is expected to be priced around INR 15,000 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant.
Vivo Y95 is expected to be the manufacturer’s first Y-series offering with a Halo FullView display. As we reported recently, the smartphone is likely to run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset under the hood, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone will also feature a 20MP AI selfie camera and a large 4030mAh capacity battery. While Vivo has not confirmed a specific launch date, the Y95 is likely to launch in the country before the end of this month. The Y95 is rumored to be priced under INR 15,000 at launch.
HMD Global announced the Nokia 7.1 at an event held in London last month. The smartphone is already on sale in Europe and is expected to be launched in India this month. Nokia 7.1 sports an impressive 5.84-inch Full HD+ resolution display with HDR10 support and runs on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset. Apart from an impressive display, the Nokia 7.1 also boasts a 12MP + 5MP dual-camera setup at the rear with Zeiss optics and 4K Ultra HD video recording. We expect the Nokia 7.1 to be priced somewhere under INR 20,000.
