Vivo has released its mid-range smartphone Z1Pro in India. The phone was announced back in June with many promising features such as punch-hole display, triple camera setup, and a massive battery. Unlike most Vivo devices that are available for purchase in the brick-and-mortar shops, the Z1Pro will focus on the online market. Like most modern phones, the latest Vivo phone has a trendy gradient hue on the back. The device has a plastic body that looks like glass due to the high reflective finish.

The Vivo Z1Pro has a 6.53-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD with a screen with a fancy punch-hole design. This is a lot more elegant solution compared to the notch. Kudos to Vivo for offering such tech in the mid-range segment. The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710 SoC (System on Chip). This 10 nm chip comprises of four Kryo 360 Gold performance cores and four power-efficient Kryo 360 Silver cores. The Z1Pro comes in 4 GB and 6 GB RAM options. Based on your choice of variant, you can get either 64 GB or 128 GB storage. Plus, there’s a microSD expansion slot.
The Vivo Z1Pro features a triple camera setup at the rear. It boasts of a 16 rear camera accompanied by an 8 MP wide-angle lens, and a 2 MP depth sensor. For selfies, there’s a 16 MP front-facing camera. The Z1Pro is a dual SIM handset with 4G VoLTE support. Other features include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and A-GPS. One of the high points of this phone is the high capacity 5,000 mAh battery. Vivo ships this phone with an 18 W charger so that you don’t have to spend extra on accessory. Surprisingly though, the company has fitted the phone with a dated micro USB port.

The Z1Pro is Vivo’s answer to the popular Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphone. Going by Vivo’s pricing, it is clear that the company is confident to take on Xiaomi. The phone’s base model with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage is pegged at Rs 14,990. For Rs 16,990, you get the 6 GB RAM while the storage remains unchanged. The top model with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage will set you back by Rs 17,990. As part of the launch offers, Reliance Jio is offering cashback of Rs 6,000 to its subscribers. There’s a catch though as the amount will be credited in the form of 40 discount coupons of Rs 150 each. To avail this offer, the user will have to purchase the device and recharge the talk time on or after July 3, 2019. Moreover, Flipkart and ICICI have partnered to offer Rs 750 flat discount if a purchase is made via ICICI’s credit or debit card.
