Looks like Vivo is on a smartphone-launching spree. The Chinese manufacturer has launched several new phones in recent times, but that’s not stopping them. It recently launched the Vivo Z3i in China, which is a rebranded V11i. And now, we are gearing up for another Vivo smartphone launch, the Vivo Z3.
Vivo has already confirmed the launch date for the Z3, and an event has been scheduled for October. It is now sending out invitations for the event, to the media in China. Looks like this will be exclusive to China as well. This is yet another mid-range smartphone from the company, and seems like a more powerful variant of the Vivo Z3i.
Vivo Z3 Invites Sent
Recently, the company posted a teaser for the Vivo Z3, which confirmed some specifications of the device. The teaser had also revealed the launch date for the phone. The company will be launching the phone in China on October 17. And now, media persons in China have started to receive invitations for the event. The invitations are rather interesting, and feature something very unique.
Vivo is known to be very creative with its invitations, and this one is just the same. The invite comes with a Lego version of the 1968 Ford Mustang GT. Yes, you read that right. Apart from the official invitation to the launch event, Vivo is giving out a Lego Car Scale model to the invitees.
We do not know if this means something or if its a clue pertaining to the phone. Some say that the price of the phone could be 1968 Yuan, since the car is a 1968 Mustang. We will have to wait a few more days to find out. Apart from that, there aren’t any other clues in the invite.
Vivo Z3 Specifications
As mentioned earlier, the Vivo Z3 is a mid-range smartphone. The recent teaser confirmed that the phone will come with the Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor. It will also come with the Dual-Turbo tech from Vivo, which will improve the performance and graphics of the phone. The technology will apparently boost performance of both apps and games twice as much.
We do not know all the details of the smartphone yet, such as the camera specifications. The phone will have a dual-rear camera setup for sure, and a single front camera. It is expected to come with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display with a waterdrop notch, as seen in other recent Vivo phones. The phone could feature up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It will also have a decent battery, around 3300mAh, which will support fast charging. The phone will run Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, with the FunTouch OS 4.0 UI on top.
