Vodafone Idea (Vi) is the newest telecom operator in India to release an all-in-one recharge bundle. It has silently launched Vi One bundle (via:TelecomTalk) that combines mobile recharge, OTT subscriptions, and high-speed broadband in a single connection. It is similar to Airtel Black which was announced in July 2021. Here is everything you need to know about Vi’s latest offering.
Vi One Recharge Plans and Benefits
As mentioned in the beginning, Vi One is an all-in-one plan meant to save the hassle of paying separate bills for different services. It lets users merge mobile recharge, OTT subscription, and broadband connection into a single plan. In other words, users will get just one bill for using all these services.
Vi One currently has four recharge plans to choose from. There are two plans with 93 days validity priced at Rs 2,192 and Rs 3,109. The other two plans cost Rs 8,390 and Rs 12,155 for 368 days of validity. All plans offer Vi Hero unlimited prepaid recharge featuring unlimited calls, 2GB per day data, and 100 SMS per day. Vi is also offering free router and installation as part of the broadband connection.
Vi One vs Airtel Black: What is the difference?
It goes without saying the Vi One recharge bundle will compete directly with Airtel Black. The latter is a service that has been in existence for two years now and has amassed a number of users. It offers access to mobile recharge, Airtel Digital TV DTH connection, and Airtel Xstream fiber broadband connection but goes beyond that.
Airtel Black also offers benefits like a dedicated relationship team, priority resolution, call pick-up in 60 seconds, free service visits, and Buy Now and Pay Later on Airtel Shop. Another best part of the bundle is that it lets users create a custom plan by combining any two or more services (mobile, DTH, and broadband).
If you add any new service to your existing service, Airtel offers the first 30 days of free access to that service. There are various Airtel Black plans, starting at Rs 699, to choose from that also include OTT subscriptions.
