Google is expected to launch the Pixel Watch 4 alongside the Pixel 10 Series this year. While we are still months ahead of the official release, renders of the upcoming Google smartwatch have leaked online, revealing the design and other probable elements. The Pixel Watch 4 could feature a larger battery capacity, but this may also result in a thicker form factor. Here’s what we know so far.
Google Pixel Watch 4 Leaked Renders
The leaked renders of the alleged Google Pixel Watch 4 were posted by renowned tipster OnLeaks via 91Mobiles. The overall design appears to be similar to the Pixel Watch 3 with a circular dial, curved edges, a multi-function button, and a standard silicone strap.
Renders suggest that the Pixel Watch 4 may get slimmer bezels. To recall, the Pixel Watch 3 had significantly thicker bezels, and many users complained about it, some also calling it ugly.
However, the upcoming Google smartwatch could have a thicker form factor at 14.3 mm, compared to 12.3mm on its predecessor. This could be due to a larger battery. The watch also looks to be missing the four charging pins, suggesting that it may support wireless charging.
The Pixel Watch 4 is expected to be available in 41mm and 45mm sizes, the same as the previous generation. The leaked renders of the watch were only available in black colour.
As per rumours, Google was said to be working on an in-house Tensor chip for its Pixel Watch. However, we are not sure whether this could make its way on the Pixel Watch 4 as the project could take longer. The current-gen Pixel Watch 3 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1, an exclusive and efficient processor for smartwatches.
The Pixel Watch 4 will launch alongside the Pixel 10 Series, and the event is expected to happen in August 2025. Google has not confirmed anything about its upcoming phone or smartwatch, hence, these details should be considered with a grain of salt.
