Huawei is gearing up to launch its next-gen smartwatch in the Chinese and global markets. Today, we spotted the Huawei Watch GT 5 in the Indonesia Telecom certification before its launch.
Huawei Watch GT 5 Indonesia Telecom Certification
The Indonesia Telecom certification reveals that Huawei will launch a smartwatch with the JNA-B19 model number soon. The certification confirms that Huawei will debut the smartwatch with the Huawei Watch GT 5 marketing name. Apart from this, the certification doesn’t reveal any other specifications for the wearable.
Our team at MySmartPrice has also spotted the smartwatch in Singapore’s IMDA and EEC certifications. The IMDA certification divulges that Huawei will equip the device with a display that supports notifications, Bluetooth, and sports activity tracking functions. In contrast, the EEC certification also divulges the VLI-B19, JNA-B29, and VLI-B29 model numbers.
The different model numbers are expected to be variants with different sizes and cellular and non-cellular versions. The reports suggest that Huawei will launch the next-gen smartwatch in 41 mm and 46mm sizes. The smartwatch’s previous certifications reveal that the device will support 18W charging technology.
Huawei’s smartwatch will also come with IP68 dust and water resistance, making it suitable for outdoor activities. It is not clear whether this will be swimproof, but since this has become a standard feature on most watches, it will likely be present. We expect the Watch GT 5 to appear in the other certifications in the upcoming weeks, revealing more information about the device. So stay tuned.
