Real Madrid Explores Special AR Headset With Apple

At the recent club assembly on November 22, Florentino Perez announced that Real Madrid is planning to develop a unique AR headset with Apple. The idea is to help fans enjoy season matches with the atmosphere of the Santiago Bernabeu stadium. However, due to huge demand and limited availability of tickets, fans find it difficult to visit the ground.

Real Madrid is exploring the concept of “Infinite Santiago Bernabeu”, which will enable fans to experience live football matches in augmented reality. Perez mentioned that the club is negotiating with Apple to develop AR-powered glasses.

Santiago Bernabeu, Real Madrid’s home ground, has a seating capacity of 80,000 after the recently completed renovation. However, given the club’s massive popularity, this is still not enough to accommodate all fans.

There is no confirmation of whether Apple has accepted the request or not. The concept is still in the talks, and it might take a while for both parties to arrive at a decision.

It is worth noting that the Vision Pro has not seen as much success as anticipated by Apple. Demand has been significantly lower, despite it being one of the most advanced AR headsets in the market. If the partnership with Real Madrid becomes true, it could give Vision Pro a much-needed boost.
