Samsung has officially announced Galaxy AI features for the Galaxy Watch. It revealed that these new features will be released with One UI 6 Watch on the next Galaxy Watch lineup. The two new Galaxy AI features are Energy Score and Wellness Tips. The team will also use AI to improve health algorithms and insights.
One UI 6 Watch Galaxy AI Features and Improvements
Samsung will combine Galaxy AI with Samsung Health to deliver new features and other improvements. Energy Score is a new feature that will help users better understand their daily condition. It will utilize various personal health metrics like average sleep time, sleep time consistency, bed/wake time consistency, previous day activity, heart rate variability, and sleep heart rate to give you a score.
Wellness Tips is the second Galaxy AI feature Samsung is developing for Galaxy Watch users. It will share insights, motivational tips, and guidance based on fitness goals to help users achieve these.
Samsung says it will improve its sleep AI algorithm using AI. It will now offer additional in-depth sleep insights and newly added sleep indicators, including movement during sleep, sleep latency, heart rate, and respiratory rate during sleep.
For users who love running, the team is introducing new Aerobic Threshold (AT) / Anaerobic Threshold (AnT) Heart Rate Zone metrics in addition to the existing five running intensity levels. Samsung will let cyclists calculate their Functional Threshold Power (FTP) metric within just 10 minutes.
Workout Routine is a new AI feature that will let users combine various exercises to reach a particular goal. It will also make it easier to move from one exercise to another without stopping. Runners and cyclists can track their progress by using the new Race feature to compare current and past performances on the same outdoor routes.
Samsung Galaxy AI Features for Galaxy Watch Release
Samsung has revealed that new Galaxy AI features will debut with the next Galaxy Watch lineup. This likely refers to the rumoured Galaxy Watch 7 series, which is expected to launch in the coming months.
These features will be released alongside One UI 6 Watch. Some Galaxy Watch users will get early access to them during the June beta testing.
