OPPO’s ColorOS 12 comes with a slew of new features, including a more inclusive design, new Sidebar tools, improved privacy controls, and more.

ColorOS 12 has a minimalistic UI with plenty of white space between elements. The animations in the update are true to life thanks to Animation Engine 3.0. Transitions have also seen improvements.

Android 12 features such as the Conversation Widget and Quick Bubbles are also present in the Color OS 12 but they are not well implemented.

Color OS’s smart sidebar has received a makeover. It now includes additional features including three-finger screenshots, Screen Translation, and Background Stream for the video streaming apps.

ColorOS 12's most notable feature is undoubtedly cross-screen connectivity. It allows you to connect your phone to your computer and transfer data at lightning rates.

One of the most important aspects of Android 12 is wallpaper-based theming, which is now available in ColorOS 12. The colour of the settings and other menus changes dependent on the background colour using this function.

The battery dashboard has been updated to provide a more thorough picture of how much power has been spent, as well as more power-saving choices.

ColorOS 12's beta updates start rolling out this month, beginning with the Find X3 Pro.

Color OS 12 is feature-rich UI and is very identical to the Oxygen OS 12 beta. The Unified OS that is scheduled for 2022 can be based on the Color OS 12.
