Google confirmed the Pixel 6 series with its own processor some time back, showing off a wacky new design. As the iPhone 13 hype takes over the world, there are new reports revealing more about the upcoming flagships.

The Pixel 6 Pro will have a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 3120 x 1440 resolution that will support a 120Hz refresh rate. Users will be able to experience a 120Hz refresh rate even at 1440p resolution and it will support variable refresh rate.

The Pro model will not feature Active Edge. Instead, users will have to double-tap the rear panel to activate the assistant. The could be support for Battery Share reverse wireless charging.

The Pixel 6 Pro may feature a 50MP Samsung GN1 sensor, a 12MP Sony IMX386 Sony sensor, and a 48MP Sony IMX586 telephoto camera with 4x zoom. For selfies, the Pixel 6 Pro has a 12MP Sony IMX663 sensor.

The Pixel 6 series will come with ultra-wideband (UWB) technology for tracking nearby objects. Google will also use Samsung’s Exynos 5123 5G modem.

Google had already revealed that the Pixel 6 series will come with its own Tensor chip that will be paired with a Mali-G78 GPU and come with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. There's not going to be a Qualcomm chip inside a Pixel phone for the first time.

The highlight of the Tensor chip is its powerful AI and Machine Learning (ML) models that Google claims offer “a transformed experience for the camera, speech recognition and many other Pixel 6 features.”

The larger Pixel 6 Pro may have a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging support, but might mot come with a charger in the box. It will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner and WiFi 6.
