Infinix  Hot 12 Play Review Highlights

Robin John

The Hot 20 Play back panel looks fairly decent despite being priced at under Rs 10,000.  It’s a glossy finish and doesn't attract fingerprints or smudges easily.

Design

The large 6.82-inch HD+ LCD display on the Hot 20 Play refreshes at 90Hz. It's an HD resolution display so the viewing experience is just fine and nothing great.

Display

The performance on the Hot 20 Play is bad due to the use of a low-powered MediaTek Helio G37 SoC. Even general apps were not consistent during usage.

Performance

The Hot 20 Play runs on XOS based on Android 12 out of the box. It boots with a bunch of bloatware apps, besides that it has some useful features.

UI

The 13-megapixel sensor on the Hot 20 Play clicks decent shots in daylight conditions. In low-light conditions, the image quality heavily degrades.

Camera

The Infinix Hot 20 Play comes with a beefy 6,000mAh battery which can easily last over two days. The 18W charger takes over 3 hours and 15 minutes to charge from 0% to 100%.

Battery

At Rs 8,999, the Infinix Hot 20 Play is just fine for someone who wants good battery life, decent camera, and large display. However, Realme C33 can be considered if you want good performance.
