Infinix Smart 6 Review Highlights
Shubham Dutt
We try out the Infinix Smart 6 for a week, and here's what we think about the latest smartphone from the house of Infinix.
Build
The Infinix Smart 6 has a clean, appealing appearance. It has a glossy finish that easily picks up fingerprints and smudges. The Infinix Smart 6 is pleasant to carry all day despite its size.
Display
While playing games, watching videos, and browsing, the display creates vibrant colours. But occasionally, it seems oversaturated.
Performance
Even as you unlock the phone, you'll notice that it is struggling for air. Opening popular applications like Instagram, Facebook, Spotify, and Gmail takes longer than usual. Competitive gaming and multitasking may both be a little annoying.
Camera
The 8MP rear main sensor delivers mediocre images with passable details and realistic colours. Although the colours seem beautiful inside, due to the sensor's lack of high quality and resolution, the details suffer as you zoom in.
Battery
Even with a little workload, the phone's battery was still 56 percent full at sleep. Thus, we were able to utilise the Smart 6 for at least two days on average.
Operating System
The device boots XOS v7.6 which is based on the Android 11 Go edition. It is loaded with a lot of bloatware that can be uninstalled.
Verdict
For those looking for a smartphone with a long battery life and a vibrant display, the Infinix Smart 6 is an excellent entry-level option. It falls short, though, in terms of offering a dependable back camera, quick charging, and responsive performance.
