Apple introduced a slew of new and interesting products at its 'Unleashed' event on Monday, including the third-generation AirPods, new chips, and new Macbooks.

The Apple AirPods now resemble the AirPods Pro. The earbuds have a Force sensor for pressure control, Dolby Atmos compatibility, Adaptive EQ, and a skin-detect sensor. The AirPods, according to Apple, offer an extra hour of battery life and support wireless charging and MagSafe.

The all-new AirPods are priced at $179 in the US, and they will be available for Rs 18,500 in India via Apple’s Online Store

Along with the AirPods, Apple released the HomePod mini in Blue, Orange, and Yellow, apart from the already available White and Grey. In November, the new colour options will be available through the Apple India Online Store and Apple Authorized Resellers.

At the 'Unleashed' presentation, the firm revealed two new processors that would power future Mac computers. Apple now has an M1 Pro chip and an M1 Max processor.

The new M1 Pro significantly outperforms the M1 with more CPU cores, more GPU cores, up to 32 GB of unified memory, and quicker memory bandwidth. It also features a ProRes encoder and decoder, as well as support for two external monitors.

The M1 Max is Apple's most powerful SoC to date. It increases the M1 Pro's memory bandwidth and maximum unified memory and supports up to 32 GPU cores. It features support for four external monitors, a built-in ProRes encoder and decoder, neural engine cores, a Thunderbolt 4 controller, and a Secure Enclave.

The Apple MacBook Pro (2021) versions in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes feature an all-new design that eliminates the Touch Bar while reintroducing an SDXC card slot and an HDMI connector. There's an incorporation of a notch, helping minimise bezels and offer consumers more screen real estate.

With MagSafe 3, the MacBook Pro (2021) models reintroduce the older MagSafe magnetic charging capabilities. The latest MacBook Pro versions also come with a six-speaker audio system with two tweeters and four force-cancelling woofers.
