Design
The Redmi Pad is an affordable version of Xiaomi Pad 5 but feels better in build. It feels centred when held in hand. However, this doesn't have any display protection.
Display
The 10.61-inch display with a resolution of 2000×1200 on the Redmi Pad is a treat to use. It is Widevine L1 certified and supports a 90Hz refresh rate.
Performance
The Redmi Pad gets powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC. It is fine for day-to-day use and the dock is useful too. However, the RAM management is poor.
Software
The software is clean and the tablet is based on MIUI 13 on Android 12. The lack of bloatware helps in improving performance.
Battery
The 8,000mAh battery lasts around three days on a single charge. Our usage included watching movies and web shows, web and social media surfing.
Verdict
The Redmi Pad feels premium with smooth display and clean UI at an affordable price. However, it’s not meant for heavy gaming. There's no LTE support.
