Design and Build

In comparison to other devices in a comparable price range, the Tecno Pova 3 has a distinctive design. Although the back is made of plastic, it seems sturdy.

Display

The display is snappy and responsive, and visuals are reproduced with good clarity and colour balance.

Battery

We were able to get 13-14 hours of screen time thanks to the huge battery. It readily lasted two to three days in our testing.

User Interface

The device comes pre-installed with HiOS v8.6 based on Android 12. The phone comes with a lot of bloatware pre-installed, and just three of them can be deleted, which is disappointing.

Performance

The Tecno Pova 3 has decent overall performance, and the SoC is capable of operating the device adequately.

Speakers

The Tecno Pova 3 has dual stereo speakers with DTS sound effects. These are loud enough for watching content, with the bottom-firing speaker being the loudest.

Camera

Through its AI technology, the primary 50MP sensor is adept at focusing on subjects. The photographs come out well in daylight, with lots of details, but it has a hard time keeping the colours constant.

Verdict

The Tecno Pova 3 delivers on its promises, with a strong and unusual appearance, a wide display for better viewing, good dual speakers, long battery life, average performance, and respectable gaming.
