In India and throughout the world, Windows 11 is now ready for download. On eligible Windows 10 PCs, the new Windows operating system is now available as a free update.

Alongside new PCs, Microsoft is rolling out Windows 11 for eligible PCs in a phased manner. You can check for the Windows 11 update on your PC by going to the Windows Update section.

Along with new PCs, Microsoft is gradually handing out Windows 11 to eligible PCs. Go to the Windows Update area of your PC to see if the Windows 11 update is available.

A dual-core, 64-bit CPU with a clock speed of at least 1GHz is required to operate it, according to Microsoft.

You may also install Microsoft's PC Health app on your PC to see if your machine is eligible for the update whenever it arrives.

The new version has a redesigned user interface with a prominently located Start menu, improved fonts, and notification sounds.

It also includes Microsoft Teams, a revamped alerts panel, and a new Actions Centre for fast settings, similar to Apple's FaceTime.

Snap Layouts and Groups in Windows 11 also help with multitasking. Windows 11 has larger touch targets and haptic feedback support for stylus pens, such as the Surface Slim Pen 2.

In the future, Windows 11 will get capabilities such as the ability to run Android apps. Microsoft showed dedicated access to the Amazon Appstore within the Microsoft Store during the launch.
