The upcoming smartphone is said to be named Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE (or New Edition), which might follow Xiaomi’s strategy of removing Mi branding. Furthermore, the upcoming smartphone has appeared on multiple certification websites revealing some key specifications and features. Now, a new report has emerged online that reveals the launch timeline of the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE for the Indian market. As per a report by 91mobiles, Xiaomi is planning to launch the upcoming smartphone in India by this month. The report says that the company might start teasing the phone’s launch in the next few days. That said, the exact launch date of the handset is not known at the moment. However, if the report is meant to be true, then we might hear some official announcements from Xiaomi pretty soon.

Interestingly, the smartphone has cleared multiple certifications, which means that the launch is imminent. The phone with the codename ‘Lisa’ was listed on the IMEI database under the name of Xiaomi Mi 11 NE. The same model has also cleared the Indian BIS certification, which hints that it will soon launch in India. The phone is said to come with model number 2109119DG, which has also appeared on the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) website.

That being said, little is known about the specifications of the upcoming smartphone, however, thanks to some recent leaks, we some a bit of it. The phone is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G processor. Apart from this, one might expect it to feature an AMOLED display with a higher screen refresh rate, triple or quad rear cameras, at least 30W fast charging support, and more.
