Xiaomi is gearing up to introduce its next flagship series in China. The Xiaomi 12 series is likely to debut in December 2021. The company is likely to introduce a couple of devices under the series and add more to the lineup early next year. Meanwhile, the Chinese tech giant has introduced a new device under the Xiaomi 11 series. The Xiaomi 11 Youth (Vitality Edition) is the latest addition to the Mi 11/ Xiaomi 11 series. The device comes with a design language that is similar to the Mi 11 Lite series in China and India. Xiaomi 11 Youth (Vitality Edition) price

Xiaomi has launched the 11 Youth in two storage configurations. It comes in 128GB and 256GB storage options. Both variants have 8GB of RAM under the hood. The base 128GB variant is priced at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs 23,800). Xiaomi has launched the 8GB + 256GB variant in China for CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs 27,300). The device comes in four colour options – Blue, Black, White and Peach.

Specification and features

The Xiaomi 11 Youth (Vitality Edition) features a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a hole-punch cutout at the top left corner of the screen. It has a Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate support. The screen can hit a peak brightness of 800 nits and comes with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Other specifications of the 10-bit display include HDR10+ certification, DCI-P3 colour gamut, Dolby Vision, etc.

The device draws power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC under the hood. It has 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The phone packs a 4,250 mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. There is no 3.5mm headphone jack. The device has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C port and supports Bluetooth 5.2.

On the back, there is a triple-camera setup. It has a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 5MP macro camera. For selfies, there is a 20MP front camera. The device boots Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 out of the box.
