Xiaomi, back in January, launched the Xiaomi 11i series devices in the Indian market. The Xiaomi 11i series consists of two smartphones – the Xiaomi 11i and the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge. Both these devices shipped with MIUI 12.5, which was based on Android 11. Now, the brand has started rolling out Android 12 stable update for both the Xiaomi 11i series smartphone.

Xiaomi India took it to Twitter to make a formal announcement for the same. Android 12 update for the Xiaomi 11i and the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge comes with MIUI 13 on top. Let us take a closer look what the new update has in the store for the Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge users.

The Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge updates come with firmware version MIUI 13.0.3.0.SKTINXM and weigh about 3GBs in size. These updates also bring an updated June 2022 Android security patch to the devices. Let us take a look at the official changelog below,

The Xiaomi 11i series devices feature a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1200nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood, these devices pack MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor coupled with Mali G68 GPU.

The Xiaomi 11i series devices rely on triple-rear camera setups that include 108MP primary sensor. Accompanying the high resolution sensors on these devices are 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and 2MP macro sensors. These smartphones offer 16MP front shooter for video calls and selfies.

The Xiaomi 11i comes equipped with 5,160mAh battery unit and 67W fast charging support. Whereas, the HyperCharge variant offers a 4500mAh battery with 120W HyperCharge fast charging.
