Xiaomi is gearing up for the launch of the Xiaomi 12 series smartphones. The company’s upcoming flagship Xiaomi 12 lineup is rumoured to include six devices namely the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12X, Xiaomi 12 Pro, Xiaomi 12 Ultra, Xiaomi 12 Lite and Xiaomi 12 Lite Zoom. The company is expected to launch few devices in this lineup by the end of December. Ahead of the official launch, some smartphones in the Xiaomi 12 series now have started appearing on several certifications. The Xiaomi 12 and the Xiaomi 12 Pro in a recent development have obtained the required TENAA certification. Apart from the TENAA certification, the Xiaomi 12 Pro smartphone also has received the 3C certification. Let us take a look at the details revealed by TENAA and 3C certification ahead:
Xiaomi 12 Pro Recevie 3C Certification
According to the TENAA certification (Via: Mukul Sharma), both the Xiaomi 12 and the Xiaomi 12 Pro will offer dual-SIM card support and 5G connectivity. The Xiaomi 12 possess the model number as 2201123C, while the Xiaomi 12 Pro carries the model number as 2201122C. The Xiaomi 12 Pro as mentioned above also has gained the 3C certification. As per the 3C listing, the Xiaomi 12 Pro will offer 120W fast charging support. Apart from the charging capability details and model number, these certifications don’t reveal any specifications of the Xiaomi 12 and the Xiaomi 12 Pro.
If the past leaks are to be believed the Xiaomi 12 will sport an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, whereas the Xiaomi 12 Pro will launch with 6.67-inch AMOLED display. The Xiaomi 12 under the hood is confirmed to feature the newly unveiled Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. We can expect the device to pack 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It is also said that this upcoming flagship smartphone will boot Android 12-based MIUI 13 out of the box. In terms of imaging, the Xiaomi model 12 is rumoured to feature a 50MP primary camera. The other specifications of the Xiaomi 12 still remain unknown currently.
