Xiaomi launched the 13 Pro 5G earlier this year in India. The new Xiaomi flagship features a Leica-tuned triple-camera setup, a 120Hz curved AMOLED display and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The launch of the new flagship meant that its predecessor got a massive discount in India. The Xiaomi 12 Pro received a massive price drop earlier this year. The former flagship device from the brand has been available for Rs 52,999 following a Rs 10,000 price drop over the launch price.

Customers who want to buy a premium Mi smartphone but do not have the budget for the 13 Pro can consider getting the 12 Pro. And if you are on the lookout, the 12 Pro is available for an even more discounted price.

Xiaomi has announced that the 12 Pro can be bought for as low as Rs 42,999 in India. For the price, users get 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The price is effective of various offers, including exchange deals on Xiaomi and Redmi phones.

The 8GB RAM variant of the 12 Pro is listed for Rs 49,999 on mi.com. This is the lowest price that the device has been available for in India without any offers or discounts. Customers can get a discount of up to Rs 7,000 on old Redmi and Xiaomi smartphones, bringing the price down to Rs 42,999. The 12GB RAM variant, on the other hand, is listed on the official website for Rs 53,999.

Alternatively, customers with an ICICI Bank credit card can claim a discount of Rs 5,000 on the 12 Pro. Other bank card holders can avail a Rs 4,000 discount on the phone.

With the offer price, the 12 Pro is a fantastic device if you want a flagship experience without having to spend a flagship price. The phone gets a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, which sits below the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The chipset is still quite capable and can handle almost any task that you throw at it. On top of this, there is up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage on offer.

The phone packs a 4,600mAh battery which offers support for 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. The highlight feature of the 12 Pro is its camera system. The device offers a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX707 main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens and 50MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. For selfies, the 12 Pro has a 32MP front camera.
