Xiaomi recently announced the price of its latest flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 13 Pro in India. This new device from Xiaomi offers a 6.73-inch AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, 12GB of RAM, 50MP camera, and 120W fast charging support. Soon after the price announcement, of the Xiaomi 13 Pro, Xiaomi has reduced the pricing of the Xiaomi 12 Pro in India. The company has slashed the pricing of the handset by Rs 10,000 in the country. The Chinese smartphone maker confirmed the new pricing details of the Xiaomi 12 Pro during the Xiaomi 13 Pro launch today.

Xiaomi 12 Pro Gets Rs 10,000 Price Cut In India
After the price cut, the Xiaomi 12 Pro will be available for Rs 52,999 and Rs 56,999 respectively. Additionally, the company is offering Rs. 3,000 discount with HDFC Bank cards or Rs. 3000 off with an exchange bonus for both the 8GB and 12GB models. Also, if you are a Xiaomi or Redmi phone user, you get an additional Rs 5,000 discount, which brings the 8GB RAM variant’s price down to Rs 47,999 and 12GB model price to 51,999. The price cut will be effective from March 1st across mi.com, Amazon.in, Mi home stores and offline stores.
Xiaomi 12 Pro Specifications
To recall, Xiaomi had introduced the Xiaomi 12 Pro 8GB + 256GB storage model in India for Rs 62,999, while the 12GB RAM model was introduced for Rs 66,999. Speaking about the specifications, the Xiaomi 12 Pro features a 6.73-inch 2K+ Samsung E5 OLED display that has 120Hz refresh rate and support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. The display also has a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. Under the hood the device is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The device comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
The handset features a 50MP (Sony IMX707 sensor) primary camera, 50MP ultra-wide lens and 50MP 2x telephoto camera. On the frontside, the Xiaomi 12 Pro is equipped with a 32MP camera that has a f/2.5 aperture. The device packs a 4,600mAh battery which offers support for 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. Connectivity-wise, the device has several features such as 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E 802.11 ax, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, a USB Type-C port and NFC.
The device also has an in-display fingerprint sensor for the security purpose and quad Stereo speakers. The phone runs Android 12 out of the box with MIUI 13 skin on top.
