Xiaomi recently launched the Redmi Note 11 series in China. The company launched three new Redmi smartphones, the Note 11, Note 11 Pro and the Note 11 Pro+. The Redmi Note 11 is expected to launch as the Poco M4 Pro 5G in select international markets. There is no official word from Xiaomi regarding the official launch of the Note 11 Pro and Pro+ outside China at the moment. While we wait for that, the Note 11 series has visited the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship smartphone series, the Xiaomi 12 series, is also listed on the BIS website.
Xiaomi 12 series, Redmi Note 11 Pro series BIS listing
Xiaomi 12, the company’s flagship series, could launch later this year. One of the alleged Xiaomi flagships has visited the BIS website. The 2201122G, which is said to be one of Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship smartphones, is listed on the BIS website. The device’s China variant has the model number 2201122C. The other Xiaomi flagship for the Chinese market has the model number 2203121C.
Unfortunately, the BIS listing does not reveal any details regarding the specs or features of the upcoming smartphones. It is reported that the next Xiaomi flagship will feature Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 898 SoC under the hood. We can also expect them to feature an improved camera setup, possibly with the new Samsung 50MP sensor or a 200MP primary camera. It is best advised to take the leaked information with a pinch of salt.
Redmi’s Note 11 series is also listed on the BIS website. The two models, the Note 11 Pro and 11 Pro+ India variants have the model numbers 21091116UI 21091116I. The two Redmi smartphones are also listed on the TUV Rheinland website with their respective model numbers. It is unknown if the Redmi smartphones will come with the same specs found on the Chinese models.
