Xiaomi 12T And 12T Pro: Expected Price In India

Xiaomi 12T series will also have the Xiaomi 12T Pro is expected to get an aggressive price tag as per leaked reports. Both the Xiaomi 12T series phones could be announced with up to 256GB storage, while the RAM options for the 12T Pro will get pushed to 12GB for the top variant. Reports suggest the Xiaomi 12T prices will start from EUR 580 (Rs 45,900 approx), whereas the Xiaomi 12T Pro could get a starting price tag of EUR 770 (Rs 60,000 approx) for the 8GB + 256GB variant. Going by the price of the Xiaomi 12 Pro, expect the company to have the Xiaomi 12T series priced closer to Rs 45,000 in India, while the Xiaomi 12T Pro could be available for around Rs 60,000.

Xiaomi 12T And 12T Pro: Specifications and Features

Xiaomi 12T series will have some impressive set of hardware, and most reports hint that the company could opt for a dual chipset strategy this year. The cameras are also expected to see some major upgrades, and so could the charging support.

120Hz AMOLED Display

Both the Xiaomi 12T phones are tipped to sport a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate screen that gets Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Now, it is interesting that even the Pro model is likely to have a Full HD+ resolution display, which will definitely help with better power management. But we would be hoping that the Xiaomi 12T Pro at least has an LTPO panel for adaptive refresh rate that switches from 1Hz to 120Hz.

Dual Chipset Powering The Phones

Xiaomi is going to be the latest brand to adopt a dual-chipset strategy for its latest flagship phones. Unlike Apple using older generation A-series chips, Xiaomi could offer the vanilla 12T model with a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset, while the 12T Pro uses the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Now, you might say the hardware is different, but from real-life usage, the MediaTek chipset has proven to be a capable unit. The latest Snapdragon 8 Gen SoC will be able to manage the heat better, which could invariably give you longer battery life.

200MP Camera Aboard

Xiaomi 12T Pro could be its first-ever phone to have a massive 200MP rear camera. The company has already confirmed this feature, and most people expect the unit to be a Samsung sensor which we have already seen on the Moto Edge 30 Ultra just a few weeks back. Xiaomi claims the 200MP imaging system will provide clearer, brighter and stabler images, which could be a big upgrade on the camera system that we saw on the Xiaomi 12 Pro. Interestingly, we haven’t seen any Leica branding on the camera through the leaked photos of the Xiaomi 12 Pro, so we have to see how the company has developed the sensor. As for the Xiaomi 12T, the brand could offer its 108MP sensor as the primary camera. But yes, all the attention will be on the flagship 200MP camera and we are eager to see how it performs.

Other Specifications and Features

The other big detail of the Xiaomi 12T series refers to a 5000mAh battery packed inside both phones that support 120W fast charging speed. The secondary cameras on the 12T are expected to be an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. While the Xiaomi 12T Pro could get the 8MP lens from the Xiaomi 12S Ultra along with a 2MP macro sensor. The front of the phone is likely to have a 20MP shooter. Xiaomi is tipped to be using Harman Kardon-powered speakers on the devices, and we are keeping our fingers crossed that the company is not going to ditch the charger in the box like other brands have done in recent times.
