Xiaomi is launching the Xiaomi 12s series on July 4 in its domestic market. The company is expected to launch the Xiaomi 12s, the Xiaomi 12s Pro, and the Xiaomi 12s Ultra under the 12s series. Ahead of the 12s series launch, a new Xiaomi handset has been spotted on the FCC certification database and it is not a 12s series device. A report by 91mobiles reveals that the Xiaomi 12T has been spotted on the FCC certification database.
The FCC listing for the upcoming Xiaomi 12T also reveals the model number as well as some of the key specifications. Let us take a closer look at the Xiaomi 12T FCC certification listing.
Xiaomi 12T Global Variant Listed on FCC Database!
The upcoming Xiaomi 12T appeared on the FCC certification database with the model number 22071212AG. The last character G in the model number suggests that the device will launch in the global markets.
The FCC listing for the upcoming Xiaomi device suggests that the handset will retail in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB configurations. The certification listing further reveals that the upcoming Xiaomi 12T will support WiFi 6, Bluetooth, NFC, and GPS. Apart from it, the listing doesn’t reveal anything else about the upcoming Xiaomi 12T.
Xiaomi 12T What We Know So Far!
The key specifications of the Xiaomi 12T were leaked on the web sometime back. As per the leaked information, the Xiaomi 12T is said to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. To those unaware, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is Qualcomm’s flagship processor as of now and is fabbed on TSMC’s 4nm process.
The Xiaomi 12T 5G is said to offer a 120Hz AMOLED display panel, but the display size is unknown as of now. The upcoming Xiaomi T-series device might come equipped with 120W HyperCharge fast charging, similar to the Xiaomi 11T Pro. The device is said to boot MIUI 13, based on Android 12. It might also come with OIS supported primary camera.
