Xiaomi 12T series is expected to launch soon. The company has not yet confirmed any details about the 12T series launch date. However, the rumour mill is working at full capacity to churn some details before the official announcement is made by the company. The latest leak by PriceBaba, citing tipster Paras Guglani, revealed the launch timeline of the upcoming premium smartphones from Xiaomi.
The company is expected to launch at least two premium phones in the 12T series. These include the 12T 5G and the 12T Pro 5G. The PriceBaba report claimed that Xiaomi 12T series will launch in September. The report also revealed the colour options along with the storage configurations of the two phones. Xiaomi 12T Series RAM, Storage, Colour Options
Xiaomi 12T series will launch very soon in India and other markets. The 12T Pro will be the more premium smartphone of the two devices. It will launch with two storage configurations. The base model will have 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. There will also be a 12GB RAM option with 256GB of internal storage. The 12T Pro 5G will launch in Cosmic Black, Lunar Silver, and Clear Blue.
Xiaomi will launch the vanilla model in two storage options as well. The base model will have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, whereas the higher storage option will have 256GB of internal storage. It will also come in the same shades – Cosmic Black, Lunar Silver, and Clear Blue.
The 12T Pro 5G is rumoured to launch as a rebadged Redmi K50 Ultra but with a 200MP primary camera. Xiaomi is likely to use the Samsung HP1 200MP sensor found in the Moto X30 Pro, aka the upcoming Motorola Edge 30 Ultra. The triple-camera setup of the 12T Pro will include an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera.
The 12T 5G, on the other hand, will feature a 108MP main camera along with an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera sensor. Both devices will pack a 5000 mAh battery. The 12T Pro 5G will support 120W fast charging, whereas the 12T 5G will support 67W fast charging.
Under the hood, the 12T Pro will draw power from a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC, whereas the 12T 5G will feature a Dimensity 8100 Ultra chipset. The devices will sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 1,220 x 2,712 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate support. We recently reported that the vanilla 12T 5G would be priced between €600 – €620 (roughly Rs 48,700 and Rs 50,400). On the other hand, the 12T Pro 5G will be priced between €800 – €820 (roughly Rs 65,000 – Rs 66,700). The India pricing of the devices will be much lower.
