Xiaomi has launched its 12T series flagship phones at a global event today. The company has unveiled two new phones in the series 一 Xiaomi 12T and the Xiaomi 12T Pro. These new flagship phones are iterative upgrades compared to the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro devices launched earlier this year.
At the event today, the company also announced the Redmi Pad, it’s first ever tablet under Redmi branding and a whole bunch of AIoT products including the Band 7 Pro. The Xiaomi 12T Pro comes with a 200MP rear camera and is powered by the latest SoC from the house Qualcomm. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 12T is powered MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor.
Xiaomi 12T Pro, Xiaomi 12T: Price and Availability
The Xiaomi 12T Pro starts at EUR 749 (roughly Rs 60,500) for the 8GB+128GB model. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 12T 8GB+128GB model costs EUR 599 (roughly Rs 48,400). Both the devices will be available in Silver, Blue and Black colour options.

The Xiaomi 12T Pro sports a 6.67-inch CrystalRes AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a centred punch-hole notch, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has a 2712 x 1220p screen resolution. The screen also comes with features like Adaptive HDR and Adaptive reading mode. Under the hood, the 12T Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
The Xiaomi 12T Pro sports a 200MP (1/1.22″) primary rear camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2MP macro camera. There is a 20MP selfie camera on the front for selfies. The rear camera also supports up to 8K video recording. The device comes with a 5,000mAh battery and is backed by 120W fast charging. With this 120W fast charging, the device can charge to 100% in just 19 minutes.
The handset runs on Android 12 based on MIUI 13 out of the box. The device will get three OS upgrades and four years of security updates. Other features include a dual stereo speaker powered by Dolby Atmos, a dual-band Wi-Fi setup, Bluetooth, and a vapour cooling system.
On the other hand, the vanilla Xiaomi 12T sports a 108MP main camera and the device is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Ultra SoC. Apart from these couple of changes, the rest of the specifications remain the same.
