Xiaomi 12X and Redmi 10 2022 Global Variants Spotted on EU Compliance Certification, Launch Expected Soon

Last month, Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 12 series devices in its domestic market – China. The Xiaomi 12 series consists of three devices – Xiaomi 12X, Xiaomi 12, and Xiaomi 12 Pro. Recently, the global variant of the Xiaomi 12 was spotted on the Geekbench certification database. Now, in a new development, the Global variant of the Xiaomi 12X has appeared on Xiaomi Global website.

Alongside, the Redmi 10 2022 has also made an appearance. Both these handsets have acquired EU conformity certification, so we can expect these to launch soon in the European market.

The listing reveals that the Xiaomi 12X will come with a 4500mAh battery unit which carries model number BP46. The handset has been certified with a 67W fast charging adapter with model numbers MDY-12-EH (for Europe) and MDY-12-EG (for the UK). The handset will boot MIUI 13 out of the box.

The Redmi 10 2022 with model number 21121119SG has also acquired the certification. The handset will come with a 22.5W charging adapter and will be equipped with a 4,900mAh capacity battery unit. The Redmi 10 2022 will come pre-loaded with MIUI 12.5

Xiaomi 12X: Specifications and Features

The Xiaomi 12X features a 6.28-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1100nits peak brightness, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision. The display also features Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

Under-the-hood, the Xiaomi 12X sports an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor that is fabbed on a 7nm process. It comes coupled with Adreno 650 GPU, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.

The Xiaomi 12X is equipped with a 50MP triple-rear camera setup and a LED flash. The primary sensor on the device is a 50MP Sony IMX766 lens with OIS. Accompanying it is a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 123° field of view. It also has a 5MP telemacro lens. For selfies, it offers a 32MP shooter with an 80.5° field of view.

Powering the device is a 4500mAh battery unit with 67W fast charging support. It has a Type-C charging port, an in-display fingerprint scanner, a stereo speaker setup with Harman Kardon and Dolby Atmos support. The smartphone weighs 176grams and measures 152.7 × 69.9 × 8.16mm.
