Xiaomi 13 series is set to make its global debut on February 26. The company has confirmed to launch the 13 5G and 13 Pro 5G at its global event ahead of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023. The Xiaomi 13 Pro 5G is confirmed to launch in India on the same day. The vanilla flagship, on the other hand, will be available in select markets outside China. Ahead of the official launch, the Xiaomi 13 5G has visited the Geekbench website.
The listing on Geekbench reveals some key performance unit details about the global variant of the Xiaomi 13 5G. Let’s take a look at the Xiaomi 13 5G specifications, features and other details ahead of its global debut.
Xiaomi 13 5G Geekbench Score
The Xiaomi 13 5G will be one of the two premium flagship phones from the company launching in various markets globally ahead of MWC 2023. The phone has been spotted on Geekbench ahead of its launch. As per the listing spotted by 91Mobiles, the 13 5G global variant has the model number 2211133G. The listing confirms that the phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. It has a peak clock speed of 3.19GHz, with four performance cores clocked at 2.8GHz and three efficiency cores clocked at 2.02GHz.
The listing on Geekbench 5 also reveals that the phone has 12GB of RAM. We can expect the global model to feature an 8GB RAM variant as well. The LPDDR5X RAM is likely to be paired with up to 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
The global variant of the Xiaomi flagship will run the latest Android 13 update out of the box. It should have a layer of MIUI 14 on top. As per the listing, the phone scored 1490 and 5111 in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests.
The global variant is likely to pack the same set of hardware found in the Chinese variant. This means that the 13 5G should be a fairly compact flagship with a 6.36-inch AMOLED display. The company has confirmed that the phone will feature a flat display with a hole-punch cutout at the top centre. There will be support for a 120Hz refresh rate and 1900 nits of peak brightness.
The global variant of the phone was unboxed ahead of its launch. It showed the phone in its White colour option. The unboxing also confirmed that the global variant will support 67W fast charging out of the box.
In addition to this, a separate report revealed that the global variant of the 13 5G will launch in Green, Black and White colour options. The 13 5G will reportedly have a starting price of EUR 999 (roughly Rs 88,200).
The device will come with Leica-tuned camera hardware. There will be a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX800 sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS). The camera setup also features a 12MP ultra-wide-angle and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3.2x optical zoom and OIS. For selfies, the device will feature a 32MP front camera.
Under the hood, there will be a 4500mAh battery. The device will also support 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging on top of the 120W wired fast charging support.
