Xiaomi is expected to launch the next iteration of flagship devices – the Xiaomi 13 series in the coming weeks. The Xiaomi 13 series is expected to consist of two devices – the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro. The Xiaomi 11 and Xiaomi 12 series were introduced in the month of December in China, so there are chances that the Xiaomi 13 might go official as soon as next month in Xiaomi’s domestic market.
Recently, the design renders and specifications of the Xiaomi 13 Pro surfaced on the web. Now, in a new development, the design renders and key specifications of the vanilla Xiaomi 13 have been leaked on the web, courtesy of OnLeaks and CompareDial. The leaked renders suggest that Xiaomi might go in favour of flat edge design on the vanilla Xiaomi 13. The company has been using the flat edge design on its Lite series for the last couple of years. Let us take a closer look at the Xiaomi 13 design renders and specifications.

The leaked renders reveal that the Xiaomi 13 will feature a flat-edge design. The device will offer a flat display panel and a centered punch-hole notch. Xiaomi is keeping the curved display exclusive to the Pro variant. The smartphone will offer a triple-rear camera setup and an LED flash. Similar to the Pro variant, the camera module will be squircle in shape and will reside on the top left corner of the device.
The right edge of the Xiaomi 13 will house the volume rockers and the power button. Whereas, the Type-C charging port, primary microphone, and speaker grill will reside along the bottom edge. The leaked renders showcase the device in a White colour option. We can expect the manufacturer to launch it in other colour options as well.
Xiaomi 13 will be powered by the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 powered Samsung Galaxy S23 series devices have already been spotted on Geekbench, you can head over to this link for more details. Apart from it, the report reveals that the Xiaomi 13 measures 152.8 x 71.5 x 8.3mm. Including the camera bump, the thickness of the device will be around 10.3mm. The display panel on the device will measure 6.2-inch in size and will have a Full HD+ resolution as per the report.
OnLeaks and CompareDial claim that the Xiaomi 13 will go official very soon and they even have a timeline for the upcoming launch. As per the report, the Xiaomi 13 might be introduced officially in late November or early December.
