Xiaomi 13 Pro Set to Launch Globally at MWC 2023

The Xiaomi 13 Pro will take on the newly launched OnePlus 11 and the iQOO 11 5G.

Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 13 series late last year in China. The company launched its new flagship smartphones with upgrades specs over the 12S series. The Xiaomi 13 series includes two phones. These are the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro. The company has now confirmed that the Xiaomi 13 Pro will launch in india and global markets later this month. The Chinese smartphone giant will unveil the 13 Pro for markets outside China at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023.

Xiaomi is expected to launch the phone with the same set of hardware found in the Chinese variant. The device is also confirmed to feature Leica-tuned camera sensors. Let’s take a look at the Xiaomi 13 Pro global launch date, specifications and other details ahead of its official launch.


Xiaomi 13 Pro India Launch Date Confirmed

The Xiaomi 13 Pro is confirmed to make its global debut at MWC 2023. Xiaomi revealed that its new flagship phone will launch on February 26. The device comes with Leica-tuned cameras on the back.

Xiaomi launched the phone back in December 2022 in China. The global variant is likely to offer the same set of hardware. This means that the Pro Xiaomi flagship will feature the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The same SoC is found in the newly launched OnePlus 11 and the iQOO 11 5G.

The 13 Pro also features LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. Xiaomi is expected to launch the phone with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage for the global market. The device will also support 120W fast charging out of the box for the 4820mAh battery. There will be 50W wireless charging support as well.

The phone will feature a triple-camera setup on the back. There is a 50MP 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 115 degree field of view, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.2x optical zoom. The main and telephoto camera sensors provide support for optical image stabilisation.

There is a 32MP front camera sensor for selfies and video calls. The front camera is located inside the hole-punch cutout. The Xiaomi 13 Pro will feature a tall 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a QHD+ resolution. The screen is curved towards the edges. There is a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for protection against drops and scratches. The display also offers 1900 nits of peak brightness.
