Xiaomi 13 series global launch event is set to take place on February 26. Ahead of the official launch, the company has confirmed that the Xiaomi 13 series will feature Leica-tuned cameras. There will reportedly be three phones in the lineup. These include the Xiaomi 13, 13 Pro and 13 Lite 5G. The company has confirmed any details about the exact number of devices it is launching at the MWC event. Meanwhile, the rumour mill has started churning out more details about the global Xiaomi flagship series. The latest rumour revealed the price of the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro.
Tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore has revealed the global price, colour options and some other details of the 13 and 13 Pro 5G. The tipster revealed that the Xiaomi 13 5G will launch in three colours, whereas the Pro model will be available only in two colour options. Let’s take a look at the Xiaomi 13 series global price, specifications and other details tipped so far.
Xiaomi 13 Series Global Price, Colour Options Tipped
The Xiaomi 13 series will debut ahead of MWC 2023 on February 26. Ahead of the launch, some key details about the premium phones have leaked. Tipster Ambhore revealed that the 13 5G will have a launch price of around EUR 999 (roughly Rs 88,700). The 13 Pro, on the other hand, will have a launch price of EUR 1299 (EUR 1,15,300). Ambhore did not reveal the RAM and storage options of the respective phones. We can expect the 13 5G to start with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB of storage. The 13 Pro 5G base model could have 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Ambhore also reiterated the previously leaked price of the Xiaomi 13 Lite, which is said to be available for EUR 499 (roughly Rs 44,300).
In addition to the price, Ambhore also uploaded the design renders and colour options of the three phones. The 13 Pro 5G will launch in two colours — Black and White. The standard flagship model, on the other hand, will launch globally in Green, Black and White colour options. Lastly, the Xiaomi 13 Lite, which will be the most affordable of the three phones, will launch in Black, Pink and Blue colour options.
The global variants will have the same specs found in the Chinese variants. The 13 and 13 Pro feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The 13 Pro is the bigger phone of the two. It has a tall 6.73-inch LTPO OLED display. The curved screen has a QHD+ resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It also offers 1900 nits of peak brightness, a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.
The phone has Leica-tuned triple rear cameras. There is a 50MP Sony IMX989 sensor with a 1-inch sensor size and OIS support, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 50MP telephoto camera with OIS support and 3.2x optical zoom. The 13 Pro packs a 4820mAh battery and 120W fast charging support. It also supports 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.
The 13 5G, on the other hand, has a smaller 6.3-inch Full HD+ flat AMOLED display. The rest of the display features are shared with the 13 Pro. The vanilla model packs a 4500mAh battery and supports 67W fast charging. It also features a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX800 sensor with OIS. The camera setup also features a 12MP ultra-wide-angle and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3.2x optical zoom and OIS.
