Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of the 13 Ultra 5G worldwide. The company has confirmed that its new Ultra flagship will launch in April 2023. The 13 Ultra will also make its global debut later this month. Xiaomi has not revealed the launch date of its top-end flagship at the moment. However, it looks like the Xiaomi 13 Ultra launch date has been leaked online ahead of the official confirmation. A new leak has revealed that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will launch in the third week of April.

An online retailer app store in China has accidentally revealed the launch date of the flagship Xiaomi smartphone. The store listing revealed that the 13 Ultra will be revealed in China on April 18.


As per the listing (via), there is a new Xiaomi New Product Launch’ on April 18 at 19.00 hours local time. The listing does not explicitly mention Xiaomi 13 Ultra. However, considering the company has confirmed to launch its flagship phone in April, it can be safe to assume that the device launching on April 13 could well be the 13 Ultra.

Xiaomi has confirmed that the 13 Ultra will feature a Leica-tuned camera system. This is not a surprise as the 12S Ultra and the 13 series also come with top-end camera lenses co-engineered with the German camera company.

Unfortunately, the listing does not reveal any other details about the upcoming Xiaomi flagship phone, including its specifications. Xiaomi 13 Ultra: Specifications and Features Leaked So Far

Xiaomi 13 Ultra is tipped to get the top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. It is likely to launch with up to 16GB of RAM. There will be up to 512GB of storage on offer. As per a recent leak, the phone will have 12GB of RAM in the base model. Xiaomi is likely to feature LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The phone is also said to feature a USB 3.x Type-C port.

There will be a 4900mAh battery under the hood. It will come with up to 90W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging support. The phone will run Android 13 out of the box and have a layer of MIUI 14 on top.

The highlight feature of the 13 Ultra will be its camera system. As per reports, the phone will launch with a quad-camera setup on the back. The giant circular camera module will feature a 1-inch 50MP Sony IMX989 main camera sensor, which is also found in the Xiaomi 13 Pro and OPPO Find X6 Pro.

The main camera will be accompanied by a three more 50MP sensors. One of the sensors will be for ultra-wide shooting, whereas the remaining two will offer telephoto zoom shots. The 13 Ultra is tipped to offer a periscope lens as well. For selfies, the phone will come with a 32MP front camera sensor.

There will be a 6.7-inch AMOLED display on the front. The screen will be curved towards the edges and come with a 2K resolution. It will also sport a hole-punch cutout at the top for the fitrat camera. As expected, the LTPO panel will refresh the display between 1Hz and 120Hz.
