Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Lite along with the Pro model.
The vanilla model also sports the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
The Xiaomi 13 Lite features the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset.
MWC 2023 is scheduled to start on February 27, and Xiaomi has already unveiled the Xiaomi 13 series globally. The series comprises Xiaomi 13 Pro, Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Lite. The Chinese manufacturer has already revealed the Pro smartphone in India. The vanilla 13 and 13 Lite may be launched later in India. The vanilla 13 smartphone comes as an affordable version of the Pro variant. In contrast, the 13 Lite is a watered-down variant of Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro smartphones.

Xiaomi 13 & 13 Lite Pricing
Xiaomi has priced the base variant of vanilla Xiaomi 13 at EUR 999 and the smartphone is available in Black, White and Flora Green colour options. While the pricing of Xiaomi 13 Lite starts at EUR 499 (approximately Rs 43,700) and is available in Lite Blue, Lite Pink and Black colour options.
The Xiaomi 13 sports a 6.36-inch E6 AMOLED display with a 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution. The display has an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz, a peak brightness of 1900 nits, a typical brightness of 1200 nits, a pixel density of 413 PPI, HDR10+, P3 colour gamut and Dolby vision support.
Underneath, it features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset built on TSMC’s 4nm process. The chipset has an integrated Adreno 740 GPU and uses the Snapdragon X70 5G modem. The smartphone runs on MIUI 14 based on Android 13 out of the box. The smartphone has two variants with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. It is available in 8GB & 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage.
In the optics department, the device features a triple-rear camera setup and is tuned by LEICA. The setup comprises a primary 50MP Sony IMX 800 sensor with f/1.8 aperture and HyperOIS. The device also sports a secondary 10MP telephoto sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. Finally, there is a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a field of view of 120.
The punch-hole in the display houses the 32MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. A 4500mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging backs the smartphone. The device also supports 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging. It has a stereo speaker setup which supports Dolby Atmos.
The smartphone supports Dual SIMs, NFC, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3 and 15 5G bands. It has a dimension of 152.8 x 71.5 x 7.98 mm and weighs 189 grams. The device gets Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and IP68 water resistance.

Underneath, it sports the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset built on the 4nm process. The chipset is paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128 or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The smartphone runs on MIUI 14 based on Android 12 out of the box.

The primary sensor is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle Sony IMX 355 sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a field of view of 119 and a 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture.
