It seems like the Xiaomi’s Black Shark is now planning to launch its own gaming headphones.
Xiaomi Black Shark Type-C Headphones to hit the market soon
According to our reliable source, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Black Shark is now intending to enter the audio equipment space. The gaming-centric brand might soon show off its very own first gaming headphones. As per our source, the upcoming headphones will indeed come with a USB Type-C port. For those who’re unaware, Xiaomi’s Black Shark recently launched its second iteration of gaming smartphone dubbed Black Shark Helo in China. The device does come with a 3.5-mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C charging port. Surprisingly, Xiaomi decided to use USB Type-C port instead of the traditional 3.5-mm headphone jack. Sadly, there is no other concrete information about this upcoming gaming headphones. Since the brand is looking to launch this product soon, we’re expecting more leaks to come forward in the coming weeks. Coming to the availability, the headphones might not make its way to the Indian market at all. Xiaomi, on the other hand, is also planning to launch a new Mi Router with SIM card support.

The Black Shark comes with a 6.01-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio and a 2.5D curved glass on the surface. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset paired with up to 10GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard memory. In terms of optics, there is a dual 20MP+12MP camera setup at the back with Phase-detection Autofocus (PDAF). Unlike rear, there is a single 20MP front-facing selfie snapper. The device is also capable of recording 4k videos. All of this is fueled by a 4,000mAh battery packed inside with an 18W charger inside the bundle. Other specifications include USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, dual SIM support, front stereo speakers and dual-heat pipe cooling system.
Xiaomi’s Black Shark arrives in three storage variants: 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB and 10GB/256GB memory. The base variant comes with a price tag of CNY 3199 (approx. INR 33,920) while the other two variants will set you back CNY 3499 (approx. INR 37,101) and CNY 4199 (approx. INR 44,524) respectively.
