Xiaomi CIVI 2 Launched with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, 120Hz Display Launched: Price, Specifications

The newly launched Xiaomi Civi 2 comes with highlighted features like 120Hz display, Snapdragon chipset, massive battery, and a lot more among others.

Xiaomi expanded its smartphone portfolio today in China and introduced the CIVI 2 for a while. It is a mid-range smartphone with primary focus on its camera. The smartphone is marketed to a female customer base and is the successor to the CIVI and CIVI 1S smartphones, which were released back in 2021.

The newly launched smartphone comes with features like 120Hz display, Snapdragon chipset, and a massive battery among others. Here’s a look at the Xiaomi CIVI 2 and its features.

Xiaomi CIVI 2 Price

The new CIVI 2 is available in 4 colour options: Black, Blue Silk, Silver, and Pink. Additionally, the Silk Silver version of the CIVI 2 has a matte-finished rear panel with a wavy pattern (Xiaomi’s signature) at the back of the handset to enhance the device’s aesthetic appeal.

The phone is available at the following price points:

  • 8GB + 128GB at RMB 2,399 (approx USD 335 or Rs 27,310)
  • 8GB + 256GB at RMB 2,499 (approx USD 349 or Rs 28,448)
  • 12GB + 256GB at RMB 2,799 (approx USD 391 or Rs 31,860)

Xiaomi CIVI 2 Specifications

The Xiaomi CIVI 2 comes with a 6.56-inch FHD+ OLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a colour depth of 10-bits. The handset has a curved edge display with a centre-aligned punch hole on the top. The screen has a peak brightness of 800 nits, a touch sampling rate of 240Hz, and a PWM dimming rate of 1920Hz.

Under the hood, the CIVI 2 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 along with up to 12GB LPDDR4x RAM, 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, and a stainless VC liquid cooling system. It runs on Android 12 and with MIUI 13 on top of it.

The rear camera module includes an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, a 2MP sensor, and a 50MP OIS primary sensor. The smartphone has a set of dual 32MP front cameras in a pill shaped cutout. While the secondary sensor is equipped with a 100° ultra-wide lens, the main sensor supports autofocus.

The phone’s connectivity features include dual-SIM, USB Type-C, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GNSS, and 5G. It also has additional features like dual stereo speakers that support Dolby Atmos, a linear vibration motor, an infrared sensor, a 4,500mAh battery, and support for 67W fast-wired charging.
