
Xiaomi is all set to launch the Xiaomi CIVI series of smartphones in China on September 27th. The company confirmed the launch date of this upcoming yesterday via its official Weibo handle. Xiaomi also revealed the design of the upcoming CIVI smartphone today morning. According to the teaser posted by Xiaomi, the CIVI series device will feature a rectangular camera module that will include a triple-camera setup. The handset’s power button and volume rocker will be located on the right side. Apart from the company’s teaser, hands-on images and specifications of the Xiaomi CIVI were also revealed today on Weibo. Let’s check out the specifications of the handset ahead:
Xiaomi CIVI Renders, Specifications Leaked Ahead Of Launch
According to the newly leaked hands-on images, we can see that the Xiaomi CIVI will be available in the Black and Blue colour options. As mentioned above, the device will feature a triple-camera setup, accompanied by a LED flash. The rear-camera module of the device is supposed to include a 64MP primary main camera, an ultra-wide lens, and a 3x telemacro sensor. The phone’s rear camera is tipped to be offer 8K video recording and 960fps slow-motion video support. As for performance usage, the Xiaomi CIVI is tipped to pack a Snapdragon 778G chipset.
The device is supposed to have an AMOLED panel, 120Hz refresh rate, and aspect ratio of 20:9. For security purpose, the handset is said to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. The Xiaomi CIVI is supposed to measure 6.98mm in terms of thickness and it might weigh 166 grams. The device’s display panel will have a punch-hole located at the center. The punch-hole will include a selfie camera. The rest of the specifications of the device such as selfie camera details and battery capacity remain to be unknown currently.
