The Xiaomi true wireless noise cancelling Earbuds 3 Pro has been officially launched, and its actual spec sheet is largely in line with what we speculated it to be ahead of its official launch. Xiaomi had teased its latest pair of true wireless earbuds ahead of the launch of its new Civi series smartphones, and the same has now been launched alongside the new Xiaomi Watch Color 2 smartwatch. The launch is restricted to China for now, although the company may decide to bring the products to other markets such as India, eventually.
Xiaomi Earbuds 3 Pro: key specs
In terms of its key specifications, the Xiaomi Earbuds 3 Pro claim to offer 360 degree spatial surround audio support. This enhancement makes this the first pair of Xiaomi earbuds that supports the feature, and pegs it as a premium overall offering. The in-ear buds have a stalk design, which somewhat resemble the Apple AirPods Pro. The charging case is sleek, and has a rounded rectangular puck design – rather than the circular pebble designs that many others opt for. The charging case combines to offer a total of 27 hours of battery life.
The Xiaomi Earbuds 3 Pro are powered by dual dynamic drivers, and offer 40dB active noise cancellation – a step up from the basic active noise cancellation levels that budget true wireless earbuds offer. This, the company states, will be offered in three levels of ANC and two levels of transparency. All of this is stitched together via Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, a low latency mode for gaming, and dual device active pairing mode, too. The earbuds also support LHDC 4.0, and in terms of durability, come with IP55 dust and water resistance rating.
Price and availability
The Xiaomi Earbuds 3 Pro have been offered in three colours – black, white and green. The earbuds have been priced at CNY 699, or approximately Rs 8,000. This pegs it as a premium true wireless earbuds pair. However, there is no India specific pricing and availability data as of now.
