Xiaomi Fan Festival offers are now live in India. During the ongoing sale, the company is offering a bunch of discounts and deals on various Xiaomi and Redmi products. The list of products eligible for offers includes some premium smartphones as well. One such smartphone is the Redmi K50i. Xiaomi launched the K50i last year in India. The phone came as an upper mid-range smartphone offering some premium hardware. Launched at a starting price of Rs 25,999, the K50i is now available for a discounted price during the Xiaomi Fan Festival sale.

Customers who want to buy a performance-focused smartphone can get the Redmi smartphone for under Rs 20,000. Let’s take a look at the Redmi K50i price, offer, specifications and why it is a stellar deal for mobile gamers.

Redmi K50i Deal That Makes it a Great Buy Under Rs 20,000

The Redmi K50i has received a price drop during the ongoing Xiaomi Fan Festival Sale. The device was launched for Rs 25,999 in India. As part of the ongoing sale offers, the K50i can be bought for Rs 22,999 on mi.com and Amazon. For the price, users get 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There is also an 8GB + 256GB storage option, which can be bought for Rs 25,999 during the sale.

The deal gets sweeter for those with an ICICI Bank card, who can claim an additional Rs 3,000 discount on both storage variants. After the card offer, the 6GB RAM variant of the K50i can be bought for Rs 19,999, whereas the 8GB RAM option will be available for Rs 22,999.

The phone can be picked in three colour options — Stealth Black, Quick Silver and Phantom Blue.

We, in our review, said that the phone sets a benchmark for performance under Rs 30,000. And following the discounted price, the K50i is a no-brainer recommendation.

This is primarily because the smartphone features a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC, which is a very capable predecessor to the latest Dimensity 8200 SoC. The chipset offers near-flagship-grade performance and is also quite efficient. In comparison, the competition offers a MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC or a Snapdragon 695 SoC, which are mid-range SoCs.

Also, if you play games like Call of Duty: Mobile or BGMI, the SoC is optimised for 90fps support. The phone also features 7 graphite sheets to keep the thermals under check.

The K50i also comes with a 144Hz smooth refresh rate display. While it is an IPS LCD panel, the display is quite good for the price. In fact, considering most 5G smartphones under Rs 20,000 that are launching in 2023 with an IPS LCD, the K50i has an edge over the competition, which either offers a 90Hz panel or a 120Hz refresh rate display.

The phone is a well-rounded package as it also offers a good camera setup and charging experience. There is 67W charging support for the 5080mAh battery. The phone also has a triple-camera setup on the back. It features a 64MP Samsung GW1 main camera, an 8MP wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro shooter. There is a 16MP front camera on the front for selfies.
